Ugh. There's a ton of this gold mylar confetti all over the quad. This is going to get chopped up by the lawn mowers and it'll be in the soil forever.

Please use biodegradable confetti! Paper - even better would be dried flower petals. Search 'biodegradable confetti' - lots of options!

At this rate we will have a full shadow government that's much more capable than whatever is left of the "real" government.
#Altgov is often contacted by members of the press for info.
We have added @altpresssec.altgov.info to our team to assist us in handling these requests correctly while allowing us to do what we do safely.
AltPressSec has an all access pass & is ready to be your initial point of contact.
Day 101. AltPressSec Log

* Updated Bsky handle (profile pic stays for now)
* Christmas lights down but not back in storage.
* 5K Followers = AMA (TBD)
* Confirming plans for May 1st Day of Action

I just got an email titled: "Stuck in a career rut?"
I thought, no, it's the opposite of a rut - things are moving, but I'm not sure which way things are going and how fast.

Maybe a career ice hill? My feet might go out from under me; I might start sliding downhill; or I might skate through fine.

It has officially happened. I have been officially let go from my position at CDC. I wasn’t a probationary employee. I had stellar performance reviews every year.

I’ll be ok. But please understand that many worked HARD to get into these positions and were doing great public health work.
