John F. Kennedy was a champion of the arts and a fervent believer in free speech. He’d be appalled if he saw what Trump was doing. The Center is a living memorial to him.

I will do everything in my power to stop this ridiculous propaganda campaign. (2/2)

FYI :“Destruction of federal property is a federal crime. 18 U.S. Code § 1361 defines the crime as willfully injuring or committing any depredation against U.S. government property. If the damage exceeds $1k it is a felony with a fine, up to ten years in prison or both.”

Awaiting law enforcement.

After 26 hours of fighting on the Senate floor, Republicans voted to rip health care from millions of people and let little babies go hungry. And they cheered.

I'm angry. You should be too. But this fight isn't over.

The state Supreme Court just upheld his right to do so.

We need a Labor Secretary who will raise the minimum wage and vigorously defend workers' right to bargain collectively.

We need a Labor Secretary who has the courage to stand up to an anti-worker POTUS.

It may feel weird or somehow improper to talk about your art or your writing, but we need it. It can’t be wall-to-wall nightmare all the time. Art is both counterweight and context. It’s escape and enlightenment and a mirror of our own exasperation. We need it. We NEED it. Keep showing us.

Amid the flurry of extreme actions taken by the Administration, there’s one question I’ve been asked more than any other:

“What are you going to *do* about it?”

It’s a fair point—especially when the President has thus far avoided any real accountability.

I’ll do my best to address it. (1/14)

Trump tariffs may roil Maine energy prices, and lobster, lumber markets
Canada, which is Maine's largest trading partner, could be particularly hard hit by a 25% universal tariff, as suggested by the president.
