Republicans are on the cusp of pushing more people in the US(mostly kids and Moms, allegedly the demographic they protect) into starvation and nutritional deficits as SNAP benefits aren't funded. This aligns with their ongoing war against poor and marginalized people everywhere.

A bunch of fucking pigs were caught rioting, inciting panic, and other criminal activity in Cincinnati last night. Local reporters and others were arrested instead of the terrorists. Locals were protesting the detention of a Children's Hospital clergy person.

A bunch of fucking pigs were caught rioting, inciting panic, and other criminal activity in Cincinnati last night. Local reporters and others were arrested instead of the terrorists. Locals were protesting the detention of a Children's Hospital clergy person.

how many fucking pigs does it take to wrongfully arrest a girl? I wish she didn't have to live in a world where kids have to fight back against kidnappings, torture, and abuse by LEOs and those impersonating them.

I'm not really too hung up on whether the protests are peaceful or not. If armed masked men came into my neighborhood and started grabbing people off to where neither courts nor lawyers can find them, I might react pretty violently too.

I wish there was time to laugh at this and the artist's attention to detail. But alas, not sure how much laughing I can muster when Empire is crushing my neighbor, even less now that my neighbor being crushed is geographically close to me.

This has been covered some, but not enough. The NWS has begun seeing cuts as a result of staff layoffs. President Musk is making our country unsafe in many ways. This is one. Upper air observations are part of how NWS is driving down weather related deaths.
