Home Office Ministers state publicly, on the record, that they are deliberately making life worse for older people and people with disabilities who depend on care services, but it's worth it because it reduces net migration.

There have been individual errors, of course, but the glaring problem is coaching. Week in, week out there’s sign that we have a plan for how to move the ball through midfield and then put the ball in the ball in the box. It’s just spam crosses, either from open play or set pieces, and hope

Barney has had to apologise over on X for libelling Frankie Boyle, claiming he played in Dubai in April 2025 when it was actually in the late 90s. The 'lineup' he used as a 'source' had Sean Hughes on it, who has been dead nearly a decade. I note he's happy to leave this shit up unaddressed on here

As a journalist, it’s impossible to have more admiration for the reporters on the ground in Gaza who are documenting the hell they and their families are going though. Now, like all those around them, they are facing starvation.

one of the only consistent things about Starmer's leadership is, even more than most politicians & journalists, he thinks the british public are absolute mugs with no object permanence who simply won't notice if he tells them what they want and other papers/channels the opposite
He told his personal PR journo in the Observer that he regretted it, and he’s telling the Sun he meant it, but the thing that’s consistent is: you’re getting mean as fuck crackdowns while being told to sit down and shut up. Perhaps you can do the astrophysics here and work out what it all means.
