Awful: Trump just admitted in a new interview that he knows "very little" about the Honduran ex-president he pardoned. This guy trafficked a gazillion times more drugs into the US than anyone Trump has executed. Wrecks his case for the boat bombings.

Peter Hyams' 2010: The Year We Make Contact was released 41 years ago today.

Generally hidden (not to say forgotten) in the shadow of Kubrick's illustrious film, this sequel is nonetheless a highly successful sci-fi movie. There's just no point in comparing it to 2001.

I mean, just today in the French press, I read articles that do everything they can to make unworthy behavior seem normal because it's the POTUS. Like, for example, inventing a peace prize. Interfering in the internal politics of the EU. Killing shipwreck victims. Everything seems normal.

The reason deaths from chronic diseases seem more prominent now compared to a century ago is that vaccines work. Bringing infectious diseases back will not magically “replace” chronic diseases as a leading cause of death, it will just cause…more death.
This is a fucking nightmare and right now I am very, very angry with the people who put Trump back in office.

More and more kids are going to die from preventable diseases.

As I have said for months, RFK Jr. has more power to singlehandedly kill more Americans than any other cabinet secretary.
