Yesterday on @ck-game.bsky.social I stuck my 2 year old son in the dungeon until he expired. Just because I wanted his smarter 15yo sister to inherit the throne.

Now she's using murder and mayhem to keep the Abbasids at bay.

I'm with Richard. Sometimes you need to use the "downstairs nursery".

You have to understand the mindset of Americans as a result of America having been settled by white Europeans 100% as a commercial, corporate enterprise. Frontiersmen did not build this country, admen did.

Increasing cost of use just means rich cunts get to use them. Just ban the fucking things.
“These are vehicles that take up more space, they cause more damage to our roads, and if they happen to hit a pedestrian they’re likely to cause more serious injuries”

Good reasons why the answer is yes. Also why we need regulations that bring down the size of cars on our road.

a little while ago I asked for artists in other mediums to help me with a problem i was having with fused glass. i am, right now, testing their advice, advice i would have never gotten if i stuck with asking people in the same medium as me. there's plenty of diversity of thought here. just less fash
Opinion - The problem with Bluesky: It won’t broaden our horizons: In the wake of Donald Trump’s election win, the social-media platform has enjoyed a surge of new users looking for an alternative to Elon Musk’s X. But will it be useful, if it just creates an echo chamber for the left?

I was curious, and I did immediately find a READ_ME.doc which is pretty cool! I contains development details from the devs! One of the devs mentions a bonus game they made that can be found in the game. Did anyone ever find that?

Yutaka Ito (of Yakuza fame) said on Twitter that he had been working on a hidden stage of Fighters Megamix (a variant of Kids Sarah's stage), the existence of which was never revealed to the press for one reason: the game freezes when you break a wall or beat an enemy in a certain way.

A fun fact about Paul Wellstone is that when he died the democrats (DFL technically) lost the election to replace him because a guy at his funeral was like “let’s elect someone to honor his legacy” and it was seen as such a scandal, so uncouth, to mention politics, that the dems could never recover
Honestly my dad hearing about Paul Wellstone dying on the radio as we were driving and having him, a very nice normal mild mannered guy pull over and go FUCK!!!!!! as I was in the backseat with a Sunny D like whoa
what made you start 'getting political' i think for me it was when a bored cop threatened to arrest me and my friend for playing near a railroad track and noticing that in this country the cops have guns

I’ve got “Upon the Midnight Queer” coming out November 12th. My editor said the thing he’s been telling people that they seem to love the most is it includes a story that answers the question “What if Rudolph stole the sleigh and only gave presents to fellow misfits?"

Do you have a book coming out between now and the end of November? It’s a tough time to get any visibility. So please respond to this post with 1) your title, 2) at least one thing that’s rad about your book, and 3) a link to order it!

"Chaindevils" by Matthew Mitchell. No physical copy, so another screenshot. This is grim as fuck, like Blood Meridian on meth; folk horror filtered through the lens of Hard To Be a God. I'm being lazy, but it's hard to describe quite how perfectly insane this book is, how hopeless its journey.
