My honest opinion is that Israel has had a concentration camp in Gaza (and attempting to start another in West Bank) for decades
The citizens know nothing but Occupation by a force that dehumanizes them & wants them dead

i've seen a retort that allowing puberty blockers for cis kids is different because prescribing them for gender dysphoria is "off label" and not the same use, which is true, but at the same time, do the bone density/irreversibility concerns just... not apply to cis children? it's the same drug!
But of course the same hormones (or even surgery) are allowed for kids if the purpose is to align their sex with the sex assigned at birth.

By doing so here, the Trump Administration runs smack into the prohibition on Medicare and Medicaid regulating the practice of medicine (as opposed to deciding what they'll pay for). Congress recognized regulating the practice of medicine is a state function, not one for Medicare/Medicaid.
