Instead, officials are supposed to take a screenshot, send that to their work email, download it onto their work computer and run a text-recognition program on it. Every time.

Via two ICE flights to Rwanda, two to Eswatini, three to Ghana and one to S. Sudan.
Some had US convictions but had finished their sentences. None have convictions in the places where they're now jailed.

Whenever people complain about the number of folks relying on food stamps, it is worth reminding them that SNAP is, by too large of a degree, a subsidy for corporations that refuse to pay a living wage and their political allies who reject public policy prescriptions to reduce income inequality.

The attack on higher education in the US, which is being largely done in the name of "fighting antisemitism," is inevitably going to lead to a lot of universities deciding that Judaic Studies programs need to be cut for budgetary purposes. Killing Judaic Studies to fight antisemitism.
A massive attack on several humanities units (Arabic Studies, Judaic Studies, Holocaust Studies, Classics, Religion, German & Scandinavian, Russian/East European/Eurasian Studies) *and* tenure now unfolding at the University of Oregon (a blue state!). British doctor comes back from Gaza and confirms two things we knew: 1- the Israelis *specifically* confiscate formula feed to starve children 2- there is a clear pattern in gun shot wounds pointing to the fact that IDF soldiers are playing games hunting humans.
