Hey guys, we need a few volunteers to go rescue our two buddies in the ocean, next to the overturned boat with the floating cocaine. Pretty sure the American drones are tired and have gone to bed, so you should be fine.

OK, who's in?

Guys? Where's everyone going?
i'm actually skeptical that the cartel is going to send another boat to retrieve/continue the run of a small vessel that is being surveilled by the US military and already attacked once.

Trump pardoned the ex-president of Honduras who shoveled hundreds of tons of cocaine into the U.S. He pardoned the founder of a black market who imported fentanyl from China.

These men poisoned America & killed millions. Whatever Trump’s illegal boat strikes are about, it sure isn’t drugs.

Why has Trump blown up alleged narco boats in the Caribbean and at the same time decided to let a big-time trafficker off the hook?

The bait-and-switch of the president and his allies citing the 100,000 tragic American deaths from drugs and then pretending that the illegal attacks on a few small Venezualan fishing boats will somehow help solve the problem is breathtakingly deceptive and cynical.

Still can't figure out how those little outboard boats are gonna make it to America, 1200 miles away.
I joined @ms.now this afternoon to discuss the strikes on boats in the Caribbean.

I approve this message. It's going to be a threshold issue for me. That and completely dismantling ICE, fully implementing the Voting Rights Act, creating a national living wage (with subsidies for businesses that need it,) expanding the Supreme Court, and admitting DC and Puerto Rico as states.

Even as he prepares to invade a country because its leader is allegedly a drug trafficker, he is pardoning the Honduran ex-president who partnered with cocaine traffickers.

Seems like a weird thing to tweet on the day when your boss said he’d pardon someone convicted of sending 400 tons of cocaine into the US.
seems suboptimal

How low we have sunk as a country. The US Department of Defense is now run by a rabid war criminal.

Ordering the execution of helpless survivors of an attack is ALWAYS a war crime, whether they civilian or military.

Pure, mindless, barbarism.

Tom Friedman’s piece in the NYT today again brings up the specter of Neville Chamberlain in ‘39. I disagree.

A better analogy is saying to Hitler: “keep the Sudetenland, don’t worry about the Holocaust, & we’ll give you a few years to rearm to attack into Belgium again. Let’s sign that!”

But Steve Witkoff has agreed to treat them as a victor

It’s a long Russian con to make America complicit — and it makes America weak, and corrupt

Europe can, and must, craft better with Ukraine

Any one who considers themselves to be part of the pro-democracy movement in the United States needs to be calling their Senators and House Member this week to demand they fight Trump's selling out of Ukraine. We need to be very, very loud this week.
Congress just loudly rebuked Trump on his rancid Epstein cover up.

Now it must rebuke him for attempting to surrender Ukraine to Putin. Let’s work together to deliver a very loud vote of “no confidence” in the days ahead.
