Fallout Fan Celebration was really cool this weekend (even with bad weather) it was great exploring Goodsprings/Primm. We met some really sweet folks, and saw amazing cosplay. Reminded me of the old PAX days. 😊

I feel this. Getting laid off felt like sprinting directly into a brick wall. Sudden stop, no way forward, couldn't even see where I could go next. Just a brick wall.
I was working so hard at Bungie, and Heresy meant so much to me. But I'm glad it was well-received.

Being laid off feels especially hard when I remember how many times I put my job first before my own health, well-being, and family. When I worked weeknights until 11pm and on weekends to hit production quotas, during PTO, and filed three stories the day before it happened. There's a lot of grief.

For gamers who aren't in game dev, you should know that we are in one of the worst periods in game dev history in terms of industry stability and the reason you're not seeing that play out through products is because the average development window of games is 3-7 years so it hasn't reached you yet.
