Total bullshit. Writing is just as much of a teachable and learnable skill as playing an instrument or acting or painting. You don't have to have any prodigy to write a great book - just a strong work ethic, years of practice, and a willingness to innovate.

Also with me saying earlier today TCPI needs to do more stuff to improve the viewer experience....speak of the devil, literally a few hours after I posted that they've started putting out interviews with pro players. I'm happy to see this because the VGC community has some super charismatic people.

According to the receipt I got at the local tavern I am now Ponytail Regular (which I assume is because my signature is completely illegible so they don't know my actual name.)
Not sure what to make of this but I am now reporting this to the Internet at large, so make of that what you will.

So word is that the first two waves of VGC registrations for EUIC both sold out within literally five minutes. Last night that meant a minimum of 1100 players, I've heard the current count is at over 1600 attendees JUST for VGC and more aside for GO and TCG.

I've made it a personal goal to stop using the term "content" when referring to media made by artists. The word implies mass-produced filler and calling someone's hard work their "content" has started to feel kinda like an insult. Like human art made strictly for quick consumption
the enthusiasm for generative AI would not have been possible without prior decades of capitalist conditioning to view works of art as products, rather than acts of culture and shared human life
I think the fundamental gap here is that non-creative people think that creative people make things for the end product, when in fact it’s the act of creation and not the end point that makes it worthwhile.

I'm trying so hard to get my first A in a math class literally ever. Please don't laugh, I have a learning disability that affects my ability to handle most types of math and the only times I've gotten higher than a C have been in classes that involve statistics...which this course is.
