Sometimes, I let my hair down--but then, few recognize me. 🤣 Regional Coordinator for the North Texas Jane Austen Society. I also garden, sing with Arlington Master Chorale, play board games, own a 11-ft boa constrictor, adore science and technology, etc..
Hooray! A new Randy Rainbow parody...and I was so eager to post it, I haven't watched it all the way through yet.

In celebration of today, hubby and I are busy listening to 1960's protest songs here...

"When logic and proportion
Have fallen sloppy dead
And the white knight is talking backwards
And the Red Queen's lost her head..."

Who knew that Jefferson Airplane were prognosticators, too?!?

Reading Twain's seminal "Life on the Mississippi," I ran across this eerily apt quote in chapter 24:
'You take the lies out of him, and he'll shrink to the size of your hat; you take the malice out of him, and he'll disappear.'

If AOC ran for higher office, she would give Republicans a collective aneurysm and that’s reason enough to do it.

Let’s keep the Ten Commandments where they belong: in churches or your local Bible study.

In public schools? Leave the holy texts off the walls and let’s teach kids how to add, subtract, and think critically—no commandments required.
A South Dakota Republican has filed a bill to force the Ten Commandments in every public school classroom.

Nearly every section of it contains lies or something that would make it blatantly illegal.

I love with the ACA has done for people with pre-existing conditions. But.

Let's face reality, ACA 2013 was a different world. Since then Insurance Companies have learned how to game the system.

For the subsidized silver/94 and /87 plans, around ~15 % of taxpayer $ stays with ins comps!

I love her advice in this: buy one book, basically any introductory physics book you can find used for like $10, and just work through it for a year.

You'll know more math and physics a year later than basically everyone who ever lived.
