That was NOT an average essay. Be serious.
It is an undergraduate psych class response essay to an assignment prompt that opened the door to non-germane perspectives. Public institutions can’t penalize students like this consistent with the First Amendment. It may have been an average essay, but 0/25 seems hard to justify under these facts.

This won’t be a popular opinion, but I don’t think the instructor was right here. The assignment said that the goal was for students to demonstrate they completed the readings *and* they could do so by reflecting on, among other things, their personal experiences. www.oudaily.com/news/ou-stat...

I’m dumbstruck by news of the death of Tom Stoppard—maybe because he hoarded all the words and knew how to use them better than just about anyone. I hope we savor his spectacular wit and erudition and argue about the politics of his plays forever. He was monumental, and also a kind and curious man.

This was something I appreciated about DEATH BY LIGHTNING. That thing would have been unwieldy as hell at 8 episodes. Four worked. Five maybe could have worked, but that's it.
in general, i kind of think the current 8 episode season format blows. it doesn’t give you the opportunity to sit with anything, or play with a one-off thing, or anything without it coming at the expense of precious story beat time

i don’t *really* care if we get 25 episodes seasons back, but i would REALLY just like to see any fucking consistency in release schedules and SOME SORT of standard length.
i am tired of trying to get a read on a show and not knowing how many episodes it even is to know if a slow burn is worth it
