Emergent chiral and topological nanoarchitectonics in self-assembled supramolecular systems
The fabrication of structures with designated topologies at the nanoscale is an intriguing issue, attributed to the possibility of both imparting unique properties to functional materials and unravelling the codes that lie in many natural systems. As a significant bottom-up approach, the self-assembly strategy is p

After the Indian strikes and Pakistan shooting down planes, there was a window for both sides to walk away and claim ‘job done’. Yet no third country has the leverage or willingness to force de-escalation.

Mechanically induced polyamorphism in a one-dimensional coordination polymer
We created different amorphous structures of a coordination polymer by applying mechanical shear forces. One-dimensional Cu(Tf2N)2(bip)2 (1, Tf2N− = bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide, bip = 1,3-bis(1-imidazolyl)propane) melted at 245 °C and underwent a glass transition at −10 °C by a static cooling process.
