A test with a binary result that can’t distinguish between someone who just snorted street amphetamines and someone who took a prescribed dose of Vyvanse that morning is just disability discrimination wrapped in the thinnest possible layer of pseudoscience.

This was a fun thread!

It also reminded me of the Trademark Bar in Alexandria, VA - right around the corner from the Patent and Trademark Office. They used to have old chemistry glassware on display. Looking at their website, it appears that they remodeled and are less fun now www.trademarkalx.com

The renewal request from National Institute of Neurological Diseases and Stroke Director Walter Koroshetz has been denied.

I guess the NIH_leadership™ needed another position to fill with their time-tested recruitment process.

It's official: Today was the warmest Christmas in US history. It was raining and nearly 40°F here in Minneapolis.
Astonishing feat!
US will break its record for the warmest Christmas by ~5°F! That’s remarkable.
Anomalies are up to +40°F in the nation’s middle and as you can see the US has the warmest air - relative to average - in the World!
