Speaking as a journalist, it has long been clear — and more so all the time — that something is *rotting* in the world of New York and Washington political reporting. Actively, visibly suppurating. Oozing with maggots. Even as many of the people in that world have denied it.

Using a dishwasher rather than hand washing can save you nine days of personal time over the course of a year.
Friendly reminder that dishwashers made after 1995 or so are so water and energy efficient that even if you ran them twice fully loaded it would still use less water than handwashing the same load.
So many "green" things feel like sacrifices. Dishwashers are not one of them.

Reminded by a conversation in a community that I'm part of: If you're forming or moderating a large social group, you NEED to have explicit and accessible policies around harassment and abuse. Social compact is absolutely not enough.

I am 1.5 issues into Absolute Wonder Woman and it’s clearly the best of these reimaginings so far. Beautiful illustrations, killer layouts, a unique style that leaves Diana looking both kind and fierce.
