OMFG. Abbott made the same absurd claims about Sharia law during Obama’s admin. Seems Abbott’s religious laws are equally repugnant to the Constitution. How about we go back to separation of church/state & freedom to chose a religious life or not?

Exactly! Why do people allow him to talk to them that way? I’m not cranky, I am disappointed in every woman that doesn’t get right back in his face, with a hot mic & ask ‘WTF is wrong with you?’.
while I’m being cranky, access journalism needs to go. When the president does his “I’m alpha because I insulted you” thing somebody needs to fall on his sword and say “what the fuck is wrong with you, old man?” on a hot mic. the hero of the wizard of Oz is Toto.

Exactly. I’ve seen several comments lamenting nobody stood up for the reporter. And, they should have. But, the bigger question is why didn’t she stand up for herself? I don’t care who it is, anyone that talks to me like that only does it once.

Vader: 4 months old, Rip 11/18/25. Daughter rescued him dodging cars in Cleburne 4 weeks ago. He’d had a trip to the vet, no issues noted, rabies shot & neutering scheduled. Daughter found him seizing on the floor @ 7 am, rushed him to the ER vet. FIP suspected, they couldn’t stop the seizures. 💔

We went to the top of the hill to see the aurora borealis. After reading an article on ‘the best way to capture it on your phone’. No pretty lights, but I did capture a great pic the light pollution over Ft. Worth. It’s much brighter in photos than with naked eyes.

Napping is not a sign that you can't handle life. It's a recovery tool vital to the daily functioning of many trauma survivors, especially if their stressors include chronic or complex health conditions.
A good nap is a more effective tool than toxic positivity any day.

Honoring my dad this Veterans Day: Clifford A Wheeler 6/1/33 - 2/19/98. Pic is circa 1956: stationed at Hunter Field in Savannah GA, where he met & married my mother. He did 3 tours to SE Asia during the Vietnam war. After tour 3 he retired as SMSGT, became a police officer, then a PD chief.
