64° here & sunny. I’m outside enjoying temps not being 80+ and before the next flood arrives (tomorrow). I was looking for the equines, but they are off in the woods. Or maybe front pasture. So, sunning with Leo & Bruce.

Trump said he was going to cheat. Then he said he cheated. Musk said he was going to help Trump cheat, then said he helped Trump cheat. Why discount their claims? HRC & Harris lost for lots of reasons, most of which don’t appear fair/square. Whatever, I hope enough people vote to end this madness.

Is the ground frosty? I’m looking for signs of winter. Still mid/high 80’s here. Snakes aren’t even hibernating. But, today may be the last day of spring for a while.

Well, that is my hang up re: fascist leader vs fascist government. I get it there are pockets & I’m in a deep one. TX gov is so far down the fascist path, a democratic turn around doesn’t appear likely until there is a national, federal push back. Yeah, it is too bad Paxton is in office, way bad.

In ‘20 & ‘24 elections my polling place was surrounded by angry white guys with guns. I wasn’t intimidated. But it’s a different story now. I qualify for mail in ballot, but Paxton unilaterally decides to throw out those ballots. It’s becoming very difficult to vote in any elections.

Alfalfa all gone, time for donkey scratches. Jasmine is so sweet, gliding in to touch gently & ask for chest scratches - no pushing me out my chair.
