NEW: Adrian Fontes has CERTIFIED the results of the AZ-07 election of Adelita Grijalva. Mike Johnson is OUT of EXCUSES and should swear her in.

I know antifa isn't a real organization because I don't get 40 texts a week from them asking for donations.

Maybe we could fix our country’s broken moral compass if New York Times writers would use “abhorrent” instead of “controversial” when clearly warranted.

I debated writing this. It can feel tempting, upon encountering yet another instance of this administration’s racism, to let it be. How many ways can you say the same thing over and over again? And yet we have to write it down, if for nothing else, so those who come after us know we were against it.

Arizonans have voted by mail for decades because it’s a safe, reliable way to make their voice heard.

Taking that away won’t make elections more secure, but it will make it harder for all Arizonans to vote, especially seniors, tribal communities, and people with disabilities.

Before the election, I warned that there is no safe haven under authoritarianism.

If they can ship Kilmar Abrego Garcia to a foreign prison—accused of no crime, with no trial—they can do it to anyone.

Americans of conscience must stand against this now.

This is what America has been terrified to admit about homelessness:

That it's a necessity of our feral capitalism.
Homeless workers now have to submit *proof of employment* to be allowed to sleep in their cars in one of the richest counties in the U.S.

Welcome to America: people shivering overnight in subzero temperatures, steps from luxury ski resorts, for the privilege of keeping the local economy booming.
In One Colorado Town, People Experiencing Homelessness Can Sleep in Their Car — if They Have a Job
People experiencing homelessness can sleep in their cars in this wealthy ski town in Colorado, but only if they have a job.
