Again, fascinating that the people telling us we need to breed more to make more workers are some of the same folks who want to kick out all the immigrants and are some of the same folks telling us AI is going to wipe out a bunch of jobs.

if you're a grad student and a tenured faculty member tries to convince you not to panic about the situation with Archives II, that you can just pivot and do digital humanities or whatever, you have my permission to throw a book at them and then you might want to find a new advisor
