I'm restarting my Halloween horror movie marathon this year. We watched Friday the 13th the other night and boy, I forgot how damn boring the first one is.
Now we're watching the second and I don't have high hopes.

Has anyone else thought about going back to school as their mid-life crisis right now? I know it's a classic for a reason, but with everything going on, is academia the right place to be? It could be the perfect place but I've been out so long, it could've changed for the worse.

So glad I did this. I ended up needing the full two rounds instead of just one. I also traveled to a country where rubella is common, right before a family member got pregnant -- a perfect storm of bad timing.
I encourage everyone to get every vaccine you are eligible for while you still can.

If you’re able, a quick blood test can determine if you need to boost your MMR antibodies (maybe others too). I checked mine and yep, I have no antibodies for Rubella. Time for a booster shot.

Or,
2. A very angry Southern horror.
