Trump just erased the only nationwide police misconduct database.
Launched in Dec. 2023, it tracked disciplinary records across 90 federal agencies. Now? Gone. The White House won’t say why, but we know—accountability is bad for the people Trump protects.

It's always been the case that "buying" an ebook from amazon was only actually a loan they could rescind at any point, but lately Amazon have gone harder on this, and it is 100% so that they can wipe banned books from your libraries without your consent.

Buy direct from authors. Get your files.

If you wanted more waste, fraud, and abuse, you would fire them.

Good: CDC’s outbreak publication (MMWR) is now up and running after the first pause in over 70 years

Bad: Todays publication is about fires, and not the missing bird flu or mpox studies we knew were up for publication. Of which have safety implications for veterinarians and people with house cats

the #1 free way you can support an author is by leaving ratings or reviews of their books – it's important not just to help sell other copies, it helps convince publishers to pick up future books. If you like my stuff, chuck me a rating and you'll be doing me a huge solid.
