Today, I found out that the Department of Defense banned the Well-Read Black Girl anthology by Glory Edim. I was one of its contributors.

I'm really hurt right now. So if you have it in you, please buy books by Black women from independent bookstores.

They’re just going to keep doing evil shit to “troll the libs” forever. They don’t care about the results. They merely hate you and that is all. They want you in prison. They want you dead.

They will keep pushing for that future because it’s clear that Americans will do nothing to stop them.

It wild to me that DOGE would actually send “contracts” with shoddy and suspect legal language to federal career attorneys that even non-lawyers would recognize as bullshit.

Our United Airlines pilot made sure to emphasize *Mexico* when he said we'd be flying over the Gulf of *Mexico* today.

Donold backed down on tariffs, claimed victory and took credit for things that Biden had already negotiated.

But Canadians will never forget this. He has made a critical error.

Senator Andy Kim just went to the USAID building, talked to the security guard there to confirm employees are being barred entry, and then did a press gaggle right there in front to call it out.

This is doing something. This is making an effort on messaging. Other Democratic lawmakers: take notes.

The Alien Enemies Act was last invoked during World War II to justify the internment of thousands of Americans of Japanese ancestry.

Resurrecting this 18th century law to carry out the president's mass deportation agenda would be unlawful.
Trump plans to invoke obscure 18th century wartime law in bid for mass deportations
Trump is set to test the limits of his immigration crackdown by invoking a wartime law to deport immigrants alleged to be gang members without court hearings.

Happy Black History Month! My favorite part of cartography is exploring new places and ways of seeing through maps and one of my new favorites is the Radical Atlas of Ferguson, USA by Patty Heyda. It's a detailed infographic biography of a city. It's one of the best cases for geography I've seen.
