Being confronted with the fact that this is what pretty much everyone else thinks journalists, researchers, analysts, etc do. This is why our parents are confused about our jobs, and why casual acquaintances think they could write a book, too, and why’d ours take so long?

so the other thing that is funny about this is that it probably would have been *less* stressful to simply express your ideas to a director and production crew and have them shoot some of these scenes than it would to explain it to a math problem
