In workplace organizing is when you see the function of the anarchist idea of an affinity group and the council communist notion of the action committee and the revelation of how parties and workplace organizing often get woven together but also how corruption and gangsterism appear!

We literally criminalize people for being unable to find a job and becoming homeless, blaming them for being "lazy" even though businesses flood the job market with fake listings to give the illusion they're growing to fuel speculation in stock pricing and there's not enough jobs.

All right, speaking of zombies from a few days ago... Time to share a guilty pleasure of mine.

Resident Evil, the movies.

Based on the hit game, this franchise follows Alice as she fights back against the evil Umbrella corp. while the apocalypse unfolds around them.

Who else loves these?

Actually, you don't care about "your sisters", it's not about you caring about trans people, you don't get even to say that, because if you truly meant that, you'd feel every pain and every death of your sisters in the middle east and you'd feel every empty stomach of your sisters in Latin America

Not to kick on Larry Summers when he's down, but once, on an academic panel, I ventured that any economic model that could not provide half the young black men in a major city with legal employ wasn't working well. He replied by lecturing us all on the dangers of communism.

First-rate mind there.

Walter Rodney on the way in which CLR James became a kind of model to him: “I've always said to myself that I hoped that at his age, if I'm around, I still have some credibility as a progressive, that people wouldn't look around and say, “This used to be a revolutionary.””

No it doesn't. The entire point of Democracy is that there is a peaceable transfer of power under the understanding the side winning won't utilize existential systemic violence against the opposing side, if that's not the case then there are alternatives means to securing safety that aren't.
Saving America from Trump and preserving our democracy explicitly requires that people who voted for Trump change their mind. Which in turn requires that those who didn’t vote for Trump show grace and empathy to those whose change of heart came from being hurt by the guy they voted for…

You are losing them because even under a "good democrat" presidency they watch their communities get older and older while quality of life gets worse and Democrats offer no counter-narrative or plan of action to resolve this while saying everything is fine because the NASDAQ is going up.
I think the constant hunt to win over ~rural~ voters is insane they don't vote for democrats and they are the ground we've been losing in for at least a decade at this point. It's just bad political geography
AND THEN THEY LOST. THEY ALL FUCKING LOST TO REPUBLICANS. IT WAS FIFTEEN YEARS AGO AND THEY NEVER GOT ELECTED AGAIN BECAUSE PEOPLE JUST VOTED FOR THE REPUBLICAN. DO ACTUALLY NOT FUCKING COMPREHEND WHY THAT HAPPENED

Sophia in 2020: Joe Biden is the accelerationist candidate, he will push the Fascizing logics and policies morally laundered through your misguided "Antifascist" antipraxis which will be repurposed when liberals fail to address the underlying conditions and Fascists seize power.
Idiots: You're crazy
semantics arguing about whether Trump can designate a “domestic group” as “terrorists”

When Joe Biden got elected, he issued a new initiative that would declare environmental activists, anti-fascists, etc as “domestic violent extremists.”

Symbols such as “ACAB” as used to “ID extremists”

If you read US paperback pornography of the 1970s both incest and bestiality are very heavily featured, so honestly people are just kind of messed up.
Someone needs to do a genuine research piece about where the flood of step-relation content came from, because I don't believe anyone asked for this.

AOC, Jeremy Corbyn, et all have been a disaster for the development of a modern socialist project. Not a single one of them can articulate how their socialism differs from capitalism as none of them have a coherent analysis of how it functions, they're all liberal obfuscationists and opportunists.
AOC, Jeremy Corbyn et all were helpful for the development of the modern socialist project but we have moved past them at this point. Sultana and Tlaib are the kinds of politicians we need now.
I’m sorry but I think folks can often be too harsh with Sarah. 95 Ds voted YES bc of leadership, why single her out so often?

She got elected statewide in Delaware. Her path is challenging and this time is terrifying. I think the disagreements w/ her can be less personal. I care about her safety.
