100% this. When the CDC was lying about masks effectiveness against covid in the beginning of the pandemic I had arguments about this with family (masking bring clearly effective in Asia). You'd think libs would have learned their lesson about this after all that's happened, but apparently not...
joking about masking still is this weird racism. it isn't active racism of "i consider those people bad", but passive racism of "i don't consider those people people". masking in public is common in multiple very successful countries, if you respected those countries you wouldn't find it weird.

After publishing this article, I've heard from many that CR seems to be using AI to produce dub CCs. Now, thanks to a slip-up CR had with episode 6 dub of The Banished Court Magician, we can say that with 100% certainty: Crunchyroll is using the AI service Ollang.com for its dub closed captions!

Not to be the fun police but I do hope people know that Arc Raiders does use generative AI for voice acting, and by supporting the game you're letting higher-ups know that this is an okay practice.

idk i had to change my habits and when i make the mistake of letting it slip that im vegan everyone gets mad at me. so i just kinda get pissed bc like. this is such a *safe* thing to be self-righteous about. it doesn't require even the slightest sacrifice on ur part but u get to scold ppl about it
