I'm sorry the people who are talking out their ass about kids being forced to undergo fake transitional surgery that they can't even get or afford are actually being mutilated by force in prison?!

Nazi really just do whatever they say they're against.
EXCLUSIVE: A forced detransition policy had disastrous effects in one Georgia prison, according to the manager of the medical unit there.

The policy is on hold due to a court order requiring prisons to re-start hormone treatments for incarcerated people in GA.

So if Olivia is 32 now, broke up with Lizza last year, was together with him for a decade, and then was living with you for 4+ years before that, how old was she when you moved her out of her (presumably parents’) house in the suburbs to live with you?
Btw about this from Lizza's reply: Olivia and I lived together for 4+ years (4 b'days, 4 Xmases, 4 anniversaries). That's like $1250 of jewelry per celebration. And her apartment was a writing studio. And I made an f-ton then. What was I supposed to do? Get her a lot of Gift Certificates from Kmart?

18 Nov 2025 -- After adding language that appeared to imply that correct-gender trans passports might be invalidated, the State Dep't. re-updates its website to clarify that “all passports” held by trans ppl will remain valid until their expiration date. @rikiwilchins.bsky.social
State Department Reverses Course, Says Trans Passports Will Be Valid Until They Expire
This comes after a concerning change indicating that the state department could "invalidate" transgender passports.

A good friend of mine was a lobbyist on this issue, getting inmates gender affirming medical care. She actually got herself banned from visiting her clients because she was so effective.

I would love to hear from people who have experience with this company. Because right now there are like 3 providers in the entire state of Arizona that will do gender affirming care for minors.

I really disliked this piece on trans passports by Amy Harmon of the New York Times. It is, admittedly, an "old" New York Times story, one that makes a reasonable effort to cloak its biases and present itself as seeking both sides of a story ("new" NYT stories don't bother).

Hugely important for trans people concerned about passports - all passports will remain valid according to the government.
In somewhat good news, today the state department website has changed the answer to this question to defer to ICAO policy. Sources still tell me that there is some appetite for invalidation/reversion of passports issued under the injunction, but this message will be welcome to many trans people.

A new NYT piece on Trump’s bigoted anti-trans passport edict leans heavily on the notion that polling supports his gender ideology. That’s a simplistic and largely unsupported reading of scarce polling. Read this analysis of polling by @alysbrooks.bsky.social

I'd advise American trans people to stay clear of GenderGP unless you absolutely have to

They have a reputation here in the UK of being awful. Low doses, AI to do prescriptions and when there's a fuck up (there usually is) AI is used to fix it

Its an awful service. Cash over care

Firings at Condé Nast hit trans journalists hard. When union representatives attempted to question the decision, they were fired in what the union says is illegal retaliation.

With blockers indefinitely banned, the nationwide PATHWAYS clinic trial would be the only way trans youth in UK could access blockers. It is supposed to provide the "high-quality" evidence on GAMT the Cass Review has maintained is still missing.

Bsky hasn’t heard the story about the time that I was giving a virtual colloquium to the Aspen Center for Physics in September 2020 and Lawrence Krauss, Geoff Marcy, Christian Ott all attended as a group

ACP now has a policy that would prevent this from happening, because of that incident 🔭

I love this story.

I get Fenway becoming institutionalized & worrying more about its own existence than the ppl it was meant to serve. It's **wrong**, but it's understandable. Happens all the time as activist projects age.

But if you're gonna brand your cowardice as strategy, you're gonna get got.
