it's hard to explain how much impact a big tough-looking guy acting calm and normal can have on a situation in general. my husband is the same way. this is what "the left" should be pursuing and encouraging, not searching for some sort of Leftist Andrew Tate
I love this so much and I am absolutely tearing up about it. The gentleness and plainness of this, the way he just lets her be her (and she seems so damn lovely, who wouldn’t?), the generosity.
It isn’t going to solve the world’s problems, but this kind of humanity is a hell of a start.
