what legal recourse do artists and museums have against international militaries stealing and using our work to commit warcrimes, since apparently that's a conversation we need to have now.
Losing my mind and what look like video game assets but instead were used to justify war crimes and genocide in the real world

A video arguing that women shouldn’t be able to vote was just shared by Trump’s Secretary of Defense, the guy in charge of our whole military.

And Democratic Party leaders still can’t stand up to this administration?! Our rights are on the line and all our party leaders offer us is silence.

The truth here is so ever relevant, is so simple and profound. I think I might pop it into my next book. Sharing yet again:

Strip Poker Night at the Inventory (SPNatI) turns 10 years old!
Created by Joseph Kantel as a small project, featuring Lara Croft (Tomb Raider), Zoey (Left 4 Dead), Lilith (Borderlands), and Elizabeth (Bioshock). After its release, more developers joined and the game took off as a community project!

The box art for the new Mario Kart is a bold choice, but at least they're aware of the character everyone is most excited to play as.

Cory Booker has just broken Strom Thurmond's record for longest Senate filibuster ever, which stood for 68 years.

Thurmond set it objecting to the Civil Rights Act of 1957.

Booker set it arguing against authoritarianism.

May Strom's name be forgotten and his memory erased.

REPORTER: Trump said tariffs are a tax on foreign countries to enrich our citizens. So then why did he have to tell domestic automakers not to raise prices?

LEAVITT: Uh, that was a private conversation that happened. I'm not sure if that comment was made or was not made.

Oh. Okay. Yeah, that makes sense. They want us to sympathize and root for him against unjust systems even more. Okay. I can do that.

a cartoon of bob 's burgers playing a keyboard
Alt: a cartoon of bob 's burgers, with three cartoon children outside a storefront window. One, the boy Gene, is playing a keyboard dressed as a hamburger. His sisters, Louise in the green dress and pink bunny ears and Tina in the blue shirt and skirt with thick glasses, are playing along by pulling straws in and out of the lids of cups to make a squeaking sound. The text reads 'You want some burgers and fries, you want some burgers and fries. Well, there's some right here. Don't you tell me no lies."
