I’m very proud of my son, Ben, for running a football school in our community.

It was a pleasure to be interviewed alongside him to share our joint love of the grassroots game.

USA's slide into "banana republic" continues..

Donald Trump has ejected NPR, New York Times & NBC from their White House (lobby) offices.

Replacing them with New York Post (a Murdoch tabloid), "One America News Network" (a barely known far right outlet) and fucking Breitbart.

Trump said the quiet part violently out loud: He wants to “clean out” Gaza, aka forcibly remove millions of Palestinians from their own land. His genius plan? Put them in Egypt and Jordan because, in his words, “we do a lot for them and they’re going to do it.”

My first and definitely last time working with the Los Angeles Times. Editing out the most urgent point of an OpEd in the minutes before sending to press while then also assigning a title and image that suggest an argument entirely opposite to the author’s clear intent is pretty shitty.

Donald Trump was found guilty of 34 charges but won't face any punishment — and will be back in the White House this month.

Nearly 800 prisoners are now helping to battle Los Angeles fires, making as little as $5.80 per day.

A tale of two justice systems.

Just been told by DEFRA that, in 2022, there were 95,000 farm businesses in England.

Just 10,031 of these were worth over £3m.

Given inheritance rules permits <£3m family owned farms to be handed down tax-free, the outrage on farm tax is a tax that impacts just 11% of farms.

If you’re having a debate inside the Democratic Party about the role of pressure groups & special interests in determining your agenda, & making you take unpopular positions that cost you swing states, & you’re not mentioning AIPAC then you’re not actually having a real debate.

Dear BBC, please do not call anti-vaxxers “vaccine sceptics”. It implies there exists doubt about vaccines. 70-odd years ago we had large numbers of people paralysed or in iron lungs. We don’t see that today and for that we can thank the Salk vaccine.
