This was our dear Cassie on her 22nd birthday in June. We lost her 3 weeks ago today, at the age of 22 year 4 months, 11 days.
So, so lucky to have had her in our family. She was a remarkable little gal.
Rest in Peace dear Cassie.

Had a lovely hour and a half walk at my favourite park this afternoon. Boy, did I need it. House Finches, Goldfinches and Redpolls singing, Chickadees, Nuthatches and Downy and Hairy Woodpeckers all doing their things. Pine Siskins. A Great Horned Owl. White-winged Crossbills...GLORIOUS!
