Now that January is done, here is where we're at with known games industry layoffs. We know of layoffs at 24 workplaces this month impacting at least 640 employees. While that's a tenth of last January's headcount, it doesn't look like a general slowdown. We're still FAR from pre-2022 numbers

I’ve been trying to watch some of the videos criticizing DA:V because despite enjoying I think there is a lot of valid criticism to be had with it and I’m curious about if my thoughts line up with others. But it’s very depressing how many feel wokeness is a significant issue. It’s just dumb.

@eplerjc.bsky.social literally just finished DA:V, and I just wanted to say job very well done. I loved the characters, and the whole last section of the story was amazingly well done. Also, I now feel much less salty about the pacing in the Lucanis romance ;)
