So what does this mean from a practical perspective? Are we at War! with Venezuela? Are we pirates? Are we just criminals more generally given that we are also just murdering randos? I'm genuinely not sure what is happening, which is perplexing because it's all happening out in the open.

Most people would respond to this sort of braggadocio with empathetic embarrassment. Or at least console their poor gramps who has dementia.

The long duration severe wind storm in the lower Mat-Su valley is over. Winds picked up Friday evening and continued with little relief until early Tuesday morning. Widespread damage/power outages. Highest wind speeds were 100 mph at Palmer airport and 72 mph at Wasilla airport. #akwx #Windstorm

My constituent, Wilmer, was mauled by an ICE attack dog despite the fact that, as he has consistently explained, he was not resisting arrest or trying to flee—his wife and young children, all U.S. citizens, were forced to watch helplessly as Wilmer was violently attacked and dragged away.

Whatever relief we may all be looking for in 2026 and 2028 will be short lived if we don't do something about this supreme court. Historic action of some sort must occur.

With an eye on the upcoming 2026 midterm elections, several States have in recent months redrawn their congressional districts in ways that are predicted to favor the State's dominant political party. Texas adopted the first new map, then California responded with its own map for the stated purpose of counteracting what Texas had done.
North Carolina followed suit, and other States are also considering new maps.
Respondents in this case challenged the new Texas map, contending that the legislature's motive was predominantly racial. A divided three-judge District Court agreed and enjoined the use of the new map in the 2026 elections. With the 2026 campaign underway, the State of Texas and several of its officials applied to this Court for a stay.

WHOA. Trump says he will pardon Juan Orlando Hernandez, who once said that he wanted to “shove the drugs right up the noses of the gringos.” He had people killed as part of his narco-trafficking ring, which he at times operated directly out of his presidential office.

The fundamental thing to understand about this administration is the president is a grumpy retiree. He has no interest in working anymore. Which leads to him being pissed that he is getting asked a question, pissed he has to show up and work, the scheming viziers running the show, etc..

I could not disagree more. There are many reasons that MMR is given as one shot. Separating it out means:
-Babies more vulnerable to preventable disease for no reason
-Three times as many doc visits
-Three times more shitty days for baby
-Three times more copays
-Three times more work absences
