Now Trump is weaponizing the FBI to go after the Members of Congress who spoke out against him.

The President is corrupt and none of us should back down in the face of these intimidation tactics.
Last night, the FBI's Counterterrorism Division appeared to open an inquiry into me in response to a video President Trump did not like.

The subtext in JD Vance asking for "patience" on the economy: When leaders stop talking about current conditions and jump straight to rosy forecasts, they’re signaling the present isn’t defensible. That’s your cue to scrutinize the numbers, not just the narrative.

This is called “chain refoulment” and it’s illegal under both U.S. and international law. And the State Department and ICE know very well what Ghana is doing and simply don’t care.
ICE deported a woman who owned a home in the US for 30 years. A judge banned ICE from deporting her to Sierra Leone where she had been tortured, so it deported her to Ghana, which kidnapped her and sent her back Sierra Leone anyway. ICE is part of this illegal conspiracy.

For the rest of human history, there should never be neutral sentence written about this self-deluded monster.

Can this flat-earther lead NASA? See how stupid that sounds?
Over many interviews, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. told Michael Scherer about how he plans to remake America’s public-health system. Can he lead the scientific establishment he’s spent much of his life crusading against?

I hated the gaslighting after Bush... I can't wait for the gaslighting after Trump. Yeah, I'll be irritated but I won't be afraid that any non-white person might be abducted from school, church, or their jobs.
It felt like this during Bush II, too, in a lot of ways. Different but the same. Suddenly everyone had always been against all this the whole time. I am expecting the extreme gaslighting to start soon as the media pretends to have woken up from some sort of magical stupor they were spelled into

So they definitely just tried to murder a witness and just didn't bother to make a plan for if she survived right
Absolutely incredible; after shooting Marimar Martinez 5 times and arresting her on claims that she rammed them and pulled a gun, prosecutors have now moved to dismiss ALL criminal charges against her and her codefendant.
New: the govt has moved to dismiss its assault case against Marimar Martinez and Anthony Ian Santos Ruiz, two people accused of "box[ing] in" a Border Patrol vehicle in Chicago on Oct. 4.

One agent shot Martinez, with evidence presented to the court that he later bragged about in text messages.

This is not what the problem is. We have many excellent, talented, engaging science communicators.

Their reach is deliberately truncated by the social media companies, and billionaire-owned news outlets do not platform them.
Scientists are partly to blame by not learning to effectively communicate in lay language on modern communication channels. That information void is then ripe for disinformation to fill.

Embed lay comms & accessibility skills into academia.
