he’s stepping back from all public commitments in light of his messages with Epstein, saying he is “deeply ashamed” and hopes “to rebuild trust and repair relationships.”

Watch what they do, not what they say. Republicans say they care about personal responsibility, but when it comes to corporations…

This repeal takes money out of your pocket, money that you are owed if airlines mess up & cause extended delays.

How much more blatant can they be?

If women are underrepresented in STEM, it's at least partly because men like this offer mentoring, then embarrass themselves by assuming their mentees must be into them, then decide the best solution is to cut ties, which sends the signal to other faculty that the mentee must not be good enough.

I just advised a friend who is getting unwanted "compliments" about unintended weight loss to loudly tell the people offering commentary that she has a parasite. That should shut them up.

So that's the mood I'm in today

The reason why most women my age couldn't care less if Bill Clinton goes down with the ship is that we were teens & young women when the Anita Hill and Monica Lewinsky scandals happened. It's rotten to the core. All the way down. Your "lost" era is not ours.
Seriously, what is wrong with these people?

Going back to Summers' talk about how women don't want to work hard and don't have high end aptitude, we could ask:

What fraction of young men must deal with a creep with substantial power over their career hitting on them using tips from an infamous pedophile? 🤔

Is it because we are closer?

I asked some of those clergy what they thought about DHS’ statement.

Trump admin Is attempting to massive cut federal transit funds, seeking to:
1–Eliminate transit account, which funds billions of $ in capital expenses for transit agencies
2–Prevent state DOTs from “flexing” funds for transit

These changes, if they occurred, would be devastating for US transit.
