A reminder of what we could've accomplished. Not to mention we'd all be sleeping better in our nation.

By far one of the greatest sins of the American Capital anti-culture has been the theft of the community. Rugged individualism is the real mind-virus.

Too many people today are keyboard warriors only. When I joined the military more than half a lifetime ago one of the first things they taught us to do was march. In unison. Full-time. Half-time. Double-time.

I wonder if there's some systemic or ideological reason for such a phenomenon 🤔 🤔
“Ultimately what we are now witnessing is the cumulative effect of greed on mankind.
The destruction of nature for profit, the destruction of our democracy to serve the needs of the wealthiest among us.”

I hate so much that the people in the most powerful positions to fight for us are such weak and selfish losers. It's not even that they aren't willing to fight dirty. They won't fight at all.

The first American Pope, Leo XIV, has just been elected.

Prevost, from Chicago, is deemed to be in the mold of Pope Francis—a progressive.

Yes, this is real.

Kinda wild how our entire lives we were taught to act with integrity and to be smart, law abiding, etc… meanwhile a felon and his gang break every American system down to the bone.

100% the US didnt get a price on the Switch 2 today because Nintendo knew it couldnt commit to a price before the dipshit put tariffs on everything. Great Job anti woke gamer asshats the new switch will be $75 to $100 bucks more expensive but the Mushroom Kingdom wont have DEI.

Might be an unpopular opinion, but I've always despised the invasion mechanic in Souls games. Especially when replaying an older game like Dark Souls 3 which is nearly a decade old, and getting constantly invaded.

Not to mention PvP in Souls games always felt clunky and cheesy in the first place.

American civil society is full of abject cowards, that is the issue. The government is a mafia state but it is winning because most American elite institutions are devoid of anything resembling integrity and are folding rather than stand on principles that were little more than marketing.

just watched the first episode of Beast Games out of morbid curiosity and i think it legit might be the worst game show i've ever seen, if not on the actual (lack of) games then certainly by its dystopian misery porn where a person with godly amounts of money flaunts and taunts those poorer than him

It's kind of astounding how complex traditional roguelikes can be from a gameplay perspective. It's shame the AAA gaming industry is so fidelity-focussed. I'd love to see what traditional roguelikes could look like with a AAA budget.
