Very proud to have stood today with my @workersjusticep.bsky.social colleagues and other brave delivery workers to announce this settlement with AG James. Thank you to her office for their tireless work on behalf of Deliveristas!
For years, DoorDash cheated its delivery workers by using customers' tips to meet its workers’ guaranteed pay instead of giving them the tips they earned.

Today, we're making DoorDash pay $16.75 million that will go back into the pockets of tens of thousands of workers.

Thank you, @newyorkstateag.bsky.social, for standing up for trans youth in NY when neither NYC's mayor nor the NY governor have the courage to do so.

If it becomes law, it will impact major DC airports like Reagan and Dulles, and could snarl travel in the leadup to world pride, which is expecting over 3,000,000 LGBTQ+ visitors.

This isn't a culture war. This is the only trans congresswoman, ever being bullied through the press and legislation, and having only 1 of hundreds of colleagues stand up for her. They can do more than 1 thing at a time. Defending her will not take so much effort that they can't do their jobs.
Defending Sarah McBride is absolutely the right thing to do, and yet there’s also the risk of being baited into yet another culture war cycle that distracts from the Republican grift. Her statement suggests she wants to move forward, and I think it’s wise to take the cue from her.
