Ukraine’s interests are our interests.

They are inseparable.

This is why we will continue to stand firmly by Ukraine in the negotiations ahead.

A central point is the question of financing for Ukraine including the use of the immobilised Russian sovereign assets.

You cannot have a functioning economy when so few people at the top hold so much of the nation’s wealth. It’s not sustainable.

"Too many European governments still behave as if losing Ukraine would be unfortunate but manageable. This is fantasy. The destruction of Ukraine would reshape Europe’s security architecture for decades, and not in Europe’s favour."

Ukraine Peace: Appeasement is the policy of acceding to the demands of a hostile nation in the hope of maintaining peace. This is now US policy. Chamberlain did the same in 1938 where he had gave Hitler large parts of Czechoslovakia. He proclaimed "Peace for our time" One year later WW2 broke out.

Part 2 of the 🇩🇰Arctic defence agreement was announced today with a budget of 27.4bn DKK (3.7bn EUR). The maritime part constitutes 22.3bn DKK or 81%, but also includes P-8 maritime patrol aircraft in cooperation with a NATO ally. 🇳🇴Norway is a good and logic candidate.
According to TV2 the new Part 2 of the Arctic defence agreement will include:

2 additional Arctic frigates (total 5)

Maritime Patrol aircraft (reportedly P-8)

Icebreaking “capacity”

The middle-class is literally left behind: Delta airlines now fly *more* premium seats than normal seats on many flights. Delta, making you compete directly with the rich, makes your future travels more expensive. Maybe even out of reach...

Delta’s bet on wealthy Americans driving the economy is working: Premium seats are set to overtake main cabin for the first time in history | Fortune
Premium is on track to overtake main cabin in 2026, a year ahead of schedule, per the third-quarter earnings call from America’s most profitable airline.

When asked why Trump is so bizarrely loyal to Putin, I say we'll probably never know. He has an affinity for dictators as an aspiring one himself. Putin helped him get elected so can't be bad. Etc. But considering his lifestyle and the KGB's practices, it would be shocking if he *wasn't* cultivated.

Now this account is also on Bluesky. I really think the integration with the social web (aka federation) in Ghost 6 has potential to create a new ecosystem for independent publishers. It is the same thing Substack is trying to do with short notes, just without the walled garden aspect.

Good to see that Trump is working hard to drive India closer to Russia (and China). His tariff policy will do nothing to help Ukraine but it will weaken the USA….almost as if it was intended.

These Americans served with honor for more than a decade. Put their lives on the line. Trump fired them, just for being who they are-and now is denying retirement benefits our nation promised them for their service.

Treating troops this way is dishonorable, unfair, & harmful to national security.

Tariffs: The people of the United States of America voted, with their eyes wide open, for a significant tax increase on nearly all their spending. That's a new one for the history books. Is it something strange in the drinking water?

Trump has damaged America forever.

We're now viewed as an unreliable partner - business can never trust him and any government policy - our allies don't see us as an ally anymore - our enemies are emboldened.

Trump destroyed our soft power advantage.
