Ukraine Peace: Appeasement is the policy of acceding to the demands of a hostile nation in the hope of maintaining peace. This is now US policy. Chamberlain did the same in 1938 where he had gave Hitler large parts of Czechoslovakia. He proclaimed "Peace for our time" One year later WW2 broke out.

Ah… If you take away freedom and basic rights from the people you need a force of thugs to keep it that way. That this should be the Army and the National Guard is beyond belief.

More likely that he comes home with a new Molotov/Ribbentrop agreement than Chamberlains appeasement deal. He will claim it represents "Peace for our time" anyway.
