Ukraine’s interests are our interests.

They are inseparable.

This is why we will continue to stand firmly by Ukraine in the negotiations ahead.

A central point is the question of financing for Ukraine including the use of the immobilised Russian sovereign assets.

...but there will be is one dish missing from this "smorgasboard": Tax on the wealth of the very rich. With increased taxes on the working and the middel class - and no wealth tax on the very rich - it won't be a Labour PM in no. 10 in two years time.

The real madness is to not tax the wealth of the super-rich. The insane transfer of wealth from ordinary people - and the goverment - the last decades - must be reversed. Tax wealth not income!

Social democrats all over Europe is digging their own grave - to large degree by refusing to tax the wealth of the very rich. It's time for Labour to remember the smartest thing ever said: if you find yourself in a hole; stop digging!

True, there is no free lunch, but there is lunch to be had. Reverse the insane transfer of wealth the last decades from ordinary people - and the goverment - to the super rich. Tax wealth, not income!

When asked why Trump is so bizarrely loyal to Putin, I say we'll probably never know. He has an affinity for dictators as an aspiring one himself. Putin helped him get elected so can't be bad. Etc. But considering his lifestyle and the KGB's practices, it would be shocking if he *wasn't* cultivated.

I expected a 1938 "Peace for our time" kind of deal. I was wrong. I just underestimated Trumps level of incompetence. I think the most usual mistake with pundits trying to make sense of Trumps actions: In trying to make sense they write in meaning and purpose that just not there. And he got played.

The Russian MFA marked the occasion too:

"With its provocative actions, Oslo is creating an atmosphere of confrontation around the archipelago, which is fraught with a rise in confrontation in high latitudes."

He also want his own military "civil disturbance quick reaction force". National guards turned into 1930s brown-shirt street thugs:

It won’t - but it might distract some people from noticing the high rent, run down schools and rising prices, I guess…

Here is one I made:

Ah… If you take away freedom and basic rights from the people you need a force of thugs to keep it that way. That this should be the Army and the National Guard is beyond belief.

First the Supreme Court abandoned the Constitution, their personal dignity and their professionalism - now also the Armed Forces of the United States of America?

Seen it before. When you take away peoples basic rights, you need a force to keep it that way
