Literally the reason Twitter sucks now is all these foreigners logged on willing to do racism for pennies on the dollar and undercut our home-grown American racists. We need to erect serious trade barriers to protect the integrity of our domestic racism industry and preserve racist jobs.

I sometimes wonder - what is the point of these types of questions?? why are journalists egging T on for NOT doing something awful and illegal?

Fun fact: Brooks made his wife convert to orthodox judaism and change her first name to marry him, and then in 2013 or 14 converted to Christianity and divorced her.

when people talk about accountability for “when this is all over” it’s a good exercise to remember how many folks can you name that were held accountable for some of the morally atrocious action that happened during T’s first term. eg spokesperson for child separations is opining in NYT
also not sure I care all that much about someone’s thoughts on the future of “small government” conservatism if their most notable contribution to public life was defending child separation.

It's hard to even remember anymore but if you look back at 2015/2026 and Trump's rhetoric and online support, it was VERY anti-gulf state/Arab. Of course all that was a scam but just so funny / depressing how all of the Trump stuff has been a grift.
