I wrote this book to empower people to take their mental health into their own hands.

I wanted to teach the language of pseudoscientific grift so that you know when it’s spoken.

This is a kind of mental health support I’m unable to provide in the role of clinician.

And all with the full blessing of the UCP government!
We HAVE laws in place to force the cleanup, but the regulator (AER) & the government are owned by oil.
Will they use some of these profits to clean up their mess? Naw, just sell it to the next sucker.
…“rather than reinvesting those profits in the Canadian economy, the four companies paid out $79.7 billion in dividends and share buybacks..” the majority going to Americans.

As well, they paid a lower tax rate than other industries.

Time for this industry to be reformed.

What's the point of trying to appease the UCP. Our Liberal government finished building a pipeline and reached an agreement with Smith on a potential new one ( more than a Conservative government has ever done) but the cry babies are still unhappy.

A few years ago the UCP took control of several major pension funds & forced them to let AIMCo control their investments. AIMCo then lost billions on what became known as the VOLTS scandal. 1/2🧶

We can do anything we put our minds to.
Political leadership has never been more important, but that depends on the active engagement of the electorate, and organized pressure for actionable solutions.

Hoping that this is, in fact, true! This country does not need a pipeline, we need to protect our groundwater.
Mark Carney managed to trade a pipeline that will never get built for meaningful progress on industrial carbon pricing and electricity interties — both of which will get more wind and solar built.

with any luck (informed people going out and voting) the ucp will lose the next election (if we don't fix it by recalls) and pipelines will wind up going nowhere. unless the price of oil jumps like crazy without government money it won't get built.

Stephen Harper is who my UCP got to head up AIMCo and “fix” all the problems after losing $2 BILLION pension dollars.

Coincidentally: Harper also sold out Canada!

That’s why we need to restrict Albertans from suing AIMCo for losses!

The more I hear about the Gripens, the more I like them.
Yes they are sitting ducks on the ground.
One bomb or missile strike on the runway(s) and the F35s can no longer take off or land.
They need 8,000ft minimum to take off when armed & fuelled for combat.
The Gripen needs less than 2,000ft fully loaded for landings. Less for take offs.
Roads work too.
The best info is that all the current F-35 operators are struggling maintain a 50% availability rate. It doesn't matter how good tech tech is if they can't fly. They are sitting ducks on the ground. In WWII the term was "hangar queen".
