The point is: With our Westminster Parliamentary system, informed voters ONOW that we are NOT voting for a PM. The PM is 1 vote in caucus. They have influence, but they are NOT a president. The issue is that there are too many UNINFORMED voters.
His statement still doesn't hold up.
The floor crossers don't change who is PM.
If you voted Conservative because you wanted PP for PM, you didn't get him and you still don't have him.
There are lots of reasons not to like floor crossers but this isn't one of them.
