A retired, progressive Canadian Albertan. We CAN'T ignore politics; we just can't.
Or Climate Change. Or Human Rights. Or...
🤣🤣🤮🤣🤣
Throwback to Pam Bondi’s campaign ad for Florida AG:

“I’ll fight to put human trafficking monsters where they belong. Behind bars.”

The ad aged. The internet remembers.

Maybe it's the universe telling you to retire...
Last week I drove to work without my laptop. Today I drove to work without my laptop and my work bag. I’m concerned about this trajectory.

A normal person would be embarrassed...

Ah...
What should be
vs
What is
Yeah but each MP has the right to decide if they those party rules are fair and reasonable. Leaders shouldn’t be able to override constituencies and riding associations. Decentralizing power is necessary for healthy democracy IMO. Cheeto is demonstrating that with every social media post.

Party whip?
Caucus rules?
Cabinet sanctity?
It is a PARTY SYSTEM. Individuals ONLY contribute to the total members. That decides who governs.
I disagree. This is one of the safety valves that protects us from bad or tyranical/lunatic party leaders. Parties splitting, or going independent is a healthy sign of a functioning pluralistic democracy. Voters have the final say at the election.

This is utterly deranged behavior from a U.S. attorney general

Silly guy.
That was the OLD USA..
A reminder: The Attorney General of the United States should be the people's lawyer, not the president's personal attorney. The Department of Justice should act to protect the public, not the occupant of the Oval Office and his political allies.

House Dems are attempting to stop Bondi filibustering questions on the Epstein files.

Raskin: "Not on our watch. Not on our time... I told you about that Attorney General before it started."

Bondi: "You don't tell me anything!"

Raskin: "I did tell you because we saw what you did in the Senate!"

If this doesn’t deep-six his Presidency I don’t know what will.

This is vile. This is ugly.

This perpetrator must be held accountable.

No longer is this right versus left.

It’s about right versus wrong.

America’s morality will be tested like never before in nearly 250 years.

Like last year, we are being told that Asia will drive global LNG demand growth. But, two months into the year and reality is telling a different story.

"February LNG imports to the big three Asian gas buyers — China, Japan and South Korea — are expected to fall by 2.32 Mt year/year"

BREAKING: Pam Bondi appears to have just committed a federal crime by lying under oath.

Ted lieu just caught her in a lie and called for her resignation live on TV.

😡🤮😡🤮
Pam Bondi just laughed when asked if she would apologize to Epstein Survivors.
February 11, 2026 at 6:19 PM
Bondi should be charged with contempt
Massie: "She didn't answer anything. She came here ready to talk about the Dow Jones and the Nasdaq, which seems kind of crazy to me."

So the world is being run by pedophiles, cannibals, and psychopaths because some men are insecure about their penises? Is it time for the matriarchy yet? Please??
February 11, 2026 at 6:15 PM
Her attitude, though...😡🤮
Jayapal: To the survivors in the room, if you are willing, please stand. And if you are willing, please raise your hands. If you have still not been able to meet with this DOJ. Please note for the record that every single survivor has raised their hand.

An entire cabinet of dullards
It's not surprising that Lutnik was a business associate of Epstein and is all over the Epstein files.
It's not surprising that he lied about it.
It is surprising that his lies were so detailed and well thought out.
And it is surprising that he didn't realize the truth would be known.

Impeach, arrest, and prosecute them all. Anything less is being complicit.

Anyone who has a basic understanding of the Westminster Parliamentary system knows that they should vote for the party.
By-elections to be called automatically when MPs defect to another party.

Govt Petition response (edit)

..no plans to make changes whereby voters elect individual candidates…..

…voters cast their vote for individual candidates, and not the political party they represent.

Me: Really?🤔
