An ongoing series where I just post pictures of college mascots who look like their nicknames could be Mike Bobo.

First up, Penn State's taxidermy mishap the Nittany Lion.

The very nature of the concerns render them illegitimate for crying out loud. What are we even doing.

There are people in detention camps being treated like animals. But you wanna talk about 10 trans NCAA athletes.

Bow your head in shame.

My latest.

As journalists and writers, we have a duty to use language that is accurate and describes our current reality.

I’m no longer going to talk about DEI/Anti-DEI.

Let’s be clear. We are facing racial purges and re-segregation.

I suggest those that think this is Nazi shit really truly educate themselves. There would have been no Nazi Germany takeover without the blue print of Jim Crow. Period. So cut it out and keep it in house cause that’s where the starting point is. HERE.

Raw milk is one of those ideas that can really only take hold when people haven't seen a cow. if you see a cow from let's say ten feet or less you immediately understand the problem that pasteurization is solving

A validating thread
Telling teachers to build relationships doesn’t make them know how to do it.

Explaining that undesirable student behavior is often communication of an unmet need and that they should respond with empathy & curiosity instead of frustration or anger doesn’t help either.

I’ve been thinking about our understandable despair a lot lately. Let’s reframe:

My outrage at systemic violence and calamity is an extension of my love and joy. But I *live* rooted in love and joy.

This joyful life is the best apocalypse I’ve ever had. And that’s why I will always fight for it.
