Senior Product Manager by day, games/film/TV/book addict by night. Can often be found nerding out about Japan, art, history, or science and communicating in meme/gif format.
Can’t wait for them to start using Starship Troopers gifs.

This is fascinating and terrifying in equal measure. I’m often so frustrated that I can’t find a game guide or information on something in a written format but I guess if younger people can’t actually read well then it’s inevitable… Bring back phonics!

I cannot recommend you enough to install the Wikipedia app on your devices and use it like you would any search engine. Nowadays they even have tabs so you can open many articles at once.

And, if you can, please donate to the foundation. It has survived the internet enshittification that way.
wikipedia's data shows that AI is siphoning traffic away from the site, which is a danger to its sustainability. ironically Wikipedia is more important than ever to users who want reliable information instead of slop, and to AI companies that need it for training data www.404media.co/wikipedia-sa...

Really interesting and some good book recommendations in this. I’ve always been fascinated by ancient cultures that appear to have thought differently about gendered roles. The ultimate proof that 99% of it is made up anyway so can be changed at any time if we wanted to…

“The people of this country have had enough of experts” - Micheal Gove, pre-EU referendum. Nearly 10 years on, Britain is a shit tip and the right wing somehow escape all blame while the left (or middle right, technically) are held to impossible standards and vilified daily. Good luck America!
RFK Jr: We need to stop trusting the experts... Trusting the experts is not a feature of science or democracy, it's a feature of religion and totalitarianism.

This guy wrote The Last Days of Jack Sparks and I still haven’t recovered. Highly recommend it as a scary read and to donate as much as you can to this good cause.
