Exclusive: Two days after the Social Security Administration purposely and falsely labeled 6,100 living immigrants as dead, security guards arrived at the office of a well-regarded senior executive in the agency’s Woodlawn, Maryland, headquarters.
Trump administration overrode Social Security staff to list immigrants as dead
A senior executive who objected was marched out of his office and put on leave, while earlier warnings about the agency’s deaths database were ignored.

I have 5 grand-kids. Each time one was born, I set up an email address for them. I send them random emails of things they did or said, special occasions like birthdays, etc. Things that would be forgotten in time. When they're 18, I'll give them their email address and password.

He’s causing a recession and doesn’t care.
President Donald Trump declined to rule out a recession this year as the economy stutters from his efforts to impose tariffs and rebuild the U.S. manufacturing sector, acknowledging in an interview broadcast Sunday that “it takes a little time” before Americans will see a payoff from his policies.
Trump declines to rule out recession amid tariffs’ effects on markets
Trump’s acknowledgment of economic turbulence was a reversal from previous cheering of his policies, and it contrasted with reassurances from his own advisers Sunday.

I founded and chair an "elite law firm" and we are not in retreat. I have spoken with many other "elite" firm leaders that are staffing up.

What the WSJ means is large corporate law firms. Please do not confuse quality with cowardice.

This would also make it impossible for Rs to fill those seats in advance with cult members who will applaud every word Trump utters
Some are saying Democrats shouldn't attend Donald Trump's State of the Union.

I disagree.

They should attend. And the minute he starts speaking, start getting up, one-by-one, and solemnly leave the chamber.

It will be all anyone talks about the next day. And will drive Donald crazy.

Why anyone continues to invest in that company is beyond me. It is a toxic brand.

First flight today on Play Air. Decent for a discount airline, and cheap.

But guys, I’m begging you: Take it easy with the red. There are others colors, subtle hues even. Or, heck, even black.

A bright red / white only color scheme makes it feel like you’re flying in a fast food restaurant.

In just 48 hours, decades of global health progress have been ignored and put at risk.

The U.S. terminated 90% of USAID foreign aid contracts—including lifesaving services once considered safe from the freeze.

Let’s talk about why this matters and how we can fight back: youtube.com/shorts/U0mLg...

Republicans want to borrow $19T more to fund tax cuts for the wealthy

Remember how they claimed (when Biden was president) that they cared about debt? It was all a lie. They care about nothing but power.

Zero percent inflation?

Not only are Republicans a sad kool-aid-drinking group around, they don’t get how devastating ultra-low inflation (bordering on deflation) can be

They’re basically predicting a massive recession

(Btw, bond market says about 2.25% over 5 yr, which I think is a bit low)

Michigan Consumer Sentiment Details (Inflation)

If the Fed impounds any money allocated to it, I think California should absolutely do this.
I’m thinking about federal income tax.

If the federal government isn’t meeting its obligations why should we?

Specifically, I’d love to see states get the money first and hold it in trust pending litigation. I want to pay my taxes but not to a government that doesn’t respect the constitution.

Democrats have too many messages, slogans, etc. Horrible branding and it all gets muddled. The DNC should pick their issue(s) and focus everything on that. Think "No New Taxes" and other simple messages like that.
