If you’re a journalist who’s still on Twitter, from now on in your writing you have to replace “the American people want” with “troll bots in Eastern Europe demand”

Being there makes your judgment suspect. I don’t care how savvy you think you are, you’re marinating in a disinformation campaign.

I have friends and family who are SUFFERING in very real and concrete ways due to this shutdown. Caving now while extracting nothing is a betrayal of all they have sacrificed. For shame.

This is not a deal — it's an empty promise.

Trump and his Republican Congress are making healthcare more expensive for the middle class and ending it for working families.

Time for Democrats to stand tall for affordable healthcare. www.politico.com/news/2025/11...
Senate reaches deal on ending the shutdown

I would give just about anything to have my late father's 1993 F-150 back
The bumper says 'rugged working man'.

But the cargo bed says ‘cosplay builder with soft hands’.

Time to ban these fragile-man-mobiles from our cities.

Daylight Saving Time is increasingly hard to notice when my digital devices are like, "What? Nothing happened. We know what time it is."

And my stove is left blinking and screaming, "IT HAPPENED! TIME SHIFTED UNNATURALLY! THEY'RE ALL LYING! ONLY I KNOW! ONLY I REMEMBER!"

repost this if an editor has ever saved you from yourself
An actual hot take: Too many authors are afraid of editors watering down their voice or whatever and not afraid enough of editors letting you put any old slop on the page.

The Post laid off seemingly the remaining of their liberal-leaning staff members on Opinion last Thursday, when some of them were observing Yom Kippur.

when I was a kid & my own house was too much I’d run nextdoor to my grandparents. among the many comforts there were a bunch of old Peanuts books they’d bought for their own kids. these were incredibly important to me because unlike most kid media Peanuts admitted “yeah being a kid kinda sucks”
It’s your 75th anniversary, Charlie Brown! 💛

🎉 Today marks the official 75th anniversary of Peanuts! On October 2, 1950, the first Peanuts comic strip, shown here, was published in seven newspapers nationwide. Charles M. Schulz was 27 years old.
