Not again

Some rich dolt is going to pay *millions* for this thing, and how much of it is even real?

I dearly wish the people who bid on these things would realize how much further that money would go in funding actual science. I'd name a new dinosaur after a donor

Hundreds of crystals of Vanadinite surround a freestanding matrix. This two toned small cabinet Vanadinite sits nicely and, despite the apparent symmetry, takes on a very different look from the right and left sides. Mibladen, Midelt, Drâa-Tafilalet, Morocco.

The Galápagos archipelago had long been free from amphibians. In the late 1990s that changed.

Small tree frogs arrived from mainland Ecuador, likely as stowaways on cargo ships.

Scientists are trying to understand their impact on the islands’ rare wildlife.
