Worth a read. Per the article McDonnell says there are multiple "documented" cases of officers being attacked. Okay, then show the video and evidence then. There were cameras everywhere.

Yesterday, we reclaimed public space for another Really, Really Free Market! While LA politicians cut services, increase criminalization, and collaborate with fascists, hundreds of everyday people from across Los Angeles came together in community to meet each other’s needs. We take care of us!

STOP GOING DOWNTOWN.

Estás en el barrio, staying around there gathers vecinos who didn’t see your flyers and posts.

Going to DTLA is where you will get kettled.

Earlier, federal police in DTLA shot me in the finger with a pepper ball, and I got hit multiple times in the back w/ "less-lethal" rounds. Looks like my backpack saved me from getting hit in the back a few more times. I'm currently resting up at home.

Exactly this. Go to TikTok. Look at the lives. It’s 400 people OUTSIDE LA, standing outside an ICE facility and they are making the ruling class shake. This is a sign of weakness on the part of the ruler: they are afraid and they can be stopped.

Practically speaking, 2,000 National Guard in an area the size of Greater Los Angeles can't do very much without local agency help.

They can lock down a couple neighborhoods. They can stay put and protect some federal facilities. They can't enforce a curfew on 18 million people across 4000 sq miles
By comparison, there were 2,500 Cal National Guard deployed to Los Angeles during the 2020 racial justice uprising.

But in 2020, Cal Guard was assisted by many thousands of LAPD, LASD, and CHP.

Greater Los Angeles is very, very large and spread out. 18 million people.

DHS HSI were on the radio two hours ago begging other agencies for water.

"We're out of water and it's very hot out here" - they were also asking for an escort and local cops did not provide it.

It took two hours for additional DHS tactical teams to arrive from elsewhere. This looks like them.
