Pilot had a massive ad spread in a jp newspaper with "make AI jealous" and "write what AI can't touch" written on it

While playing the PC Engine Batman game, I wondered if there was going to be a stage that's shaped like the Batman logo or something like that.

Then I realized that I was smackdab in the middle of one.
Sunsoft even took care to stick a TM in the upper-right corner.

The eye exam is the perfect game design. That big E is a great tutorial that teaches you the basic mechanic. But it doesn't baby you and quickly gets hard as they introduce the small and blurry enemies.

Shoutout to the person who added a tiny little branch to the menu for the apple to hang from in Citadel: Adventure of the Crystal Keep (1989)

This is so, so bad. The more pictures I see the worse it gets. It's not just the fake-Internet images, it's everything. Portraits. The pre-rendered backgrounds.

I don't think I have ever been so upset about a re-release before. FM3 could have stood strong with nothing more than a speed up.

My full review on Nintendo Insider. A poor revival of a game that deserved everything. The script and gameplay might be preserved decently, but visually this is a downgrade in every conceivable way.

The (very likely) use of AI to process all the images is an insult, and I hope other reviews agreed.

I don’t know who at Bandai Namco made this but it couldn’t not be any clearer that they spent their life making AMVs, saw their moment to shine, and did not hesitate.
